The statistics estimate over a million cats and dogs are killed every year for no other reason than being homeless. This is a practice that must be stopped!

I hate to see dogs put down because no one wants them. It's why I tend to adopt from shelters first whenever I have adopted. My other route is puppies from unplanned litters because if no one adopts them, they end up in the shelters facing the same fate.
